This treatment is designed to target and improve a variety of skin concerns, including sun damage, rough textures, and stubborn areas like heels and knees. The powerful 10% Salicylic Acid works to smooth, exfoliate, and soothe the skin, offering relief for conditions like keratosis pilaris, psoriasis, and calluses.
What does it do:
Targets sun-damaged skin

Use:

Body use only. Apply to thick, roughened skin (elbows, knees, heels).

Facial use: Not recommended unless specifically directed by your therapist.

Apply at night

Sensitive/reactive skin, apply on alternate nights.

Apply on freshly cleansed, fully dried skin, dispense a thin, even layer to the target zones.

Do not apply to inflamed, or compromised skin.

Wash hands immediately after application.

Follow with a neutral, fragrance-free moisturiser if additional comfort is required.

Precaution:
Do not use Salicylic Acid products alongside 30% Urea. If using both, allow at least 30 minutes between applications.

1. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected areas, for example heels, knees, elbows, the backs of the arms where skin feels bumpy, or rough sun damaged patches.
2. Massage in gently until absorbed.
3. Wash your hands after applying.
4. Apply a Propaira sunscreen to treated areas before sun exposure.
Tips:
- Patch test on a small area for a few days before wider use, and start once daily before moving to twice daily if your skin tolerates it well.
- Do not use this cream at the same time as the Propaira 30% Urea Exfoliating Emollient. If you use both in your routine, leave at least 30 minutes between applications.
- Keep it away from the eyes, lips, broken or irritated skin.
- This product is for the body and is strong. It is not intended as a facial exfoliant.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your GP before using salicylic acid over large areas of the body.
- Rough, scaly or crusty patches that are persistent, spreading or changing should always be reviewed by your GP or dermatologist.
- Salicylic Acid 10%: a keratolytic beta hydroxy acid that softens and loosens rough, thickened, scaly surface skin so it can shed, smoothing bumpy and crusty areas
- Glycerin and Propylene Glycol: humectants that draw water into the skin while it exfoliates
- Dimethicone: smooths and helps protect the treated skin surface
