1. Cleanse with a gentle wash, such as Propaira Gentle Cleansing Wash, and pat dry.
2. Apply a thin layer to the affected area only.
3. Massage gently to promote absorption.
4. If your skin is sensitive, start by applying every other day and build up to daily use as your skin adjusts.
5. Wash your hands after applying.
Tips:
- Patch test on a small area for a few days before first full use.
- Benzoyl peroxide can bleach fabric. Use white towels, pillowcases and clothing while the product dries, as it may discolour coloured fabrics.
- Avoid the eye area, lips and broken skin.
- Some dryness or mild flaking early on is common. Ease back to every other day and buffer with a light moisturiser if needed. Avoid layering it with retinol or strong exfoliating acids in the same session.
- Use sunscreen daily on treated skin. The brand recommends Propaira Tinted Sunscreen SPF50+ before going in the sun.
- The formula contains retinyl palmitate, a mild vitamin A derivative. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your GP before use.
- Store between 5 and 25 degrees C, away from direct sunlight.
- Formulated for skin prone to acne. If breakouts are persistent, painful or scarring, see your GP or dermatologist.
