1. Apply liberally to clean, dry skin as the last step of your morning skincare, 20 minutes before sun exposure. For the face and neck, use about half a teaspoon; most people underapply sunscreen.
2. Massage in evenly. The tint blends to a soft, natural finish on most skin tones and doubles as light makeup or a primer.
3. Reapply every 2 hours, and immediately after swimming, sweating or towelling.
4. Use daily, especially if you are using pigmentation products such as the Niaben range, retinoids or exfoliating acids, where daily SPF protects your results.
Tips:
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear. Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection.
- The iron oxide tint also offers cover from visible light, which makes tinted sunscreen the usual recommendation for pigmentation prone skin.
- Free of preservatives, nanoparticles and fragrance, so it suits sensitive skin. Patch test if your skin is highly reactive.
- Keep out of eyes. Stop use if irritation occurs and speak with your pharmacist or GP.
- UV filters: 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor 4%, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane 4%, Octocrylene 4% and Ethylhexyl Triazone 3% for broad spectrum SPF50+ UVA and UVB protection
- Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499): the natural mineral tint, which also helps shield pigmentation prone skin from visible light
- Niacinamide: supports an even, calm looking complexion, well suited to acne prone skin
- Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Panthenol: soothe and hydrate
- Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate): antioxidant support
